1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply when you browse ovelpythex.com or purchase a digital guide from Ovelpythex (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into the purchase.
2. Digital materials
Our catalogue contains educational Python courses and guides supplied as downloadable PDF files. Product pages describe the subject, included modules, intended reader, format, and price. No physical item is shipped. A purchase does not include live tutoring, formal accreditation, employment placement, or any result not expressly stated on the relevant product page.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in euros unless the payment page clearly states otherwise. Any taxes, currency conversion, or payment charges shown during checkout form part of the order total. Payment is completed on the page of the payment provider linked from our site. Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we make the digital file available.
4. Delivery
Paid digital guides are delivered electronically using the method stated during checkout or in the order message. You are responsible for providing a working email address and checking filtered mail folders. If you do not receive the file or delivery instructions, contact support@ovelpythex.com and include the email used for the order and the guide name.
5. Personal licence
Unless a product page says otherwise, purchase grants one individual, non-transferable licence to download and use the guide for personal study. You may store a reasonable number of backup copies for your own use. You may not resell, publicly distribute, upload, sublicense, share account or download credentials, or reproduce a substantial part of a guide for commercial distribution.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape protected materials, impersonate another person, or use the materials in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Educational information
The materials are supplied for general education. Code examples may need to be adapted, reviewed, and tested for a particular environment or purpose. You remain responsible for decisions made using the material and for maintaining backups and appropriate safeguards when working with code or data.
8. Availability and corrections
We may correct clear pricing, description, or technical errors. If an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer and offer an appropriate remedy, which may include supplying the correct file or refunding the affected order.
9. Refunds and statutory rights
Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where applicable law requires consent before immediate digital delivery changes a withdrawal right, that consent should be collected during checkout.
10. Intellectual property
The website design, written guides, examples, diagrams, and original course text belong to Ovelpythex or the relevant rights holder. The personal licence in section 5 does not transfer ownership of those materials.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or educational materials. Our total liability for a paid guide will not exceed the amount paid for that guide. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
